Medical Services VScan HIV Rapid Test Kits Go Retail in SE Asia

Medical Services International Inc. (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce  that its VScan HIV 1&2 rapid test kits are being carried as of January 2005 on a retail level in Watson's Pharmacies in Hong Kong. The delay in getting the VScan test kits on the retail shelves had been related to the packaging bar code. These problems have now been fixed to everyone's satisfaction. With the regulatory approvals received in the People's Republic of China, Watson's will now also be able to stock the VScan HIV1&2 test kits in their stores in China.

The Company's distributor in Hong Kong will now begin an active marketing program in SE Asia that will educate the public about the availability of a rapid HIV test kit for home use. Medical Services is confident that once the marketing plan for home use is implemented that the demand for the VScan HIV test kit on a retail level will be extremely strong.
