Medical Services New HIV Test Kit Well Received

Medical Services International Inc. (Pinksheets: MSITF) had previously announced that it had developed a rapid test kit that detects the HIV virus within 2 to 11 days of infection. The latest generation of the VScan HIV test kits has the unique ability to detect the IgM class of antibodies by itself. Other test kits do not detect the HIV virus until greater than 90 days after infection. By this time the immune system has been compromised. There is no other test kit that detects the HIV virus as early as the VScan HIV IgM test kit. Based on the test results that were achieved by the VScan HIV IgM test kits, the Company has received many inquiries in regard to the test kit as well as receiving an initial order.

With early detection using the HIV IgM test kit and by treating with the appropriate medications, the potential breakdown of the immune system can be significantly delayed and potentially prevent the co-infection of other diseases such as TB, Hepatitis B&C or the subsequent development of AIDS. This early treatment ensures that the individual can lead a productive and full life.
