Medical Services Begins to Supply VScan HIV
Test Kits to Hospitals

February 2, 2005
Medical Services International Inc (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it will begin supplying VScan HIV test kits to 5 hospitals in the People's Republic of China. The hospitals are located in southern China and have been involved in the testing that resulted in regulatory approval. These hospitals are very familiar with the VScan test kit and have been extremely pleased with the sensitivity and specificity of the VScan HIV test kit as well as the ease of use. It is expected that the number of hospitals using the VScan test kit will increase substantially once our sales force in China starts the marketing program. It is reasonable to expect that Chinese hospitals will use at least 1,000,000 test kits in the first year.

As part of an ongoing testing program, the hospitals will also be using the new VScan HIV test kit for detection of the IgM antibody. The IgM antibody is the first antibody that can be detected once infection of the HIV Virus has occurred.

The Company is also making arrangements to begin live testing in Florida using the new IgM VScan HIV test kit. The new test kit detects the HIV virus within 2 to 11 days of infection. This is a significant advancement in the detection of the HIV virus. No other rapid test kit detects the HIV virus as early as this kit. Early detection means that the immune system hasn't been compromised and use of antiviral drugs at a very early stage means that compromising of the immune system can be delayed or possibly prevented.
