Medical Services  Begins Regulatory Testing
on Its New Malaria Test Kit

February 24, 2005
Medical Services International Inc (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it has developed a rapid test kit for Malaria. The Company has finished all the preliminary testing of its NEW VScan Malaria test kit. Test results show that the kit is accurate (greater than 99% of the time), easy to use, and gives results in under 20 minutes.

The Company has begun submitting the malaria test kit to regulatory authorities for approval in two major countries and will be submitting the test kit for regulatory approval in another 9 countries within the next 60 days. Based on the test results of the Malaria test kit and the excellent test results of its other test kits, the Company expects to receive regulatory approval reasonably quickly.

Malaria is a serious and sometimes fatal disease caused by a parasite. Malaria is transmitted by mosquitoes. The World Health Organization estimates that each year 300-500 million cases of Malaria occur and more than 1 million people die of malaria. Malaria is a leading cause of death and disease worldwide, especially in developing countries. Malaria is prevalent in Central and South America, Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Early diagnostic of malaria means that the malaria can be treated before it becomes severe and poses a risk to the patient's life. Malaria can be cured with prescription drugs.

The Company feels that its VScan Malaria test kit will be well received in the market place. Based on studies completed in Africa and China and due to its established distribution network it is reasonable to expect that the Company will sell in excess of 2.0 million malaria test kits in the next year and significantly more in the following year as the Company receives regulatory approval in different countries.
