Medical Services International Begins to
Supply the VScan TB Test Kit

Medical Services International Inc. is pleased to announce that as a result of the contracts just signed in China for its VScan HIV test kits it has been requested to immediately start supplying its VScan TB test kits to hospitals. The VScan TB test kit has been given experimental status in the hospitals so that the TB test kits can immediately be used in the hospitals. The Company has already applied for regulatory approval of the VScan TB test kit in China.

The VScan TB test kit only detects "live" TB and as such gives NO false positives. Tuberculosis (TB) is a highly contagious disease transmitted through the air contaminated with droplets released from the lungs. TB strikes people in their most productive years, ages 15 to 44. Three million people die from TB every year, more than the deaths from all the other infectious diseases combined. Early diagnosis will significantly reduce this number as TB can be treated. Published data shows that 35% of HIV patients have undiagnosed TB. The Company feels that the VScan TB test kit will be as important to the Company as its HIV test kit.
