Medical Services  Moves Into Russia

Medical Services International Inc. is pleased to announce that it its VScan HIV and TB rapid test kits have been accepted for registration by regulatory authorities in Russia. In Russia there is a significant HIV/AIDS problem as well as a very serious TB problem. The key to attempting to control these problems is early detection through rapid test kits as in VScan rapid test kits.

In terms of TB test kits, the VScan TB rapid test kit is the most accurate test on the market and gives no false positives. It is the only TB test that gives NO false positives.

On March 24, 2005 ("World TB Day") it was reported out of Geneva and New York by "Doctors Without Borders" that development of simple and rapid diagnostic tools are the key to fighting Tuberculosis (TB). The Doctors Without Borders said in their press release, "Diagnosing TB in developing countries still relies on sputum microscopy, a diagnostic method that was developed 123 years ago. It only detects TB bacilli in 45 to 60% of all people who have TB and is even less effective for those who have both HIV and TB. Without a simple, rapid test for detecting Tuberculosis (TB), care providers in developing countries will continue to miss about half of all people who need Tuberculosis (TB) treatment."

Tuberculosis (TB) will kill more than 8 million people this year, more than all other infectious diseases combined.

The Company is receiving increasing interest in its VScan TB test kit. As the Company receives regulatory approval for the TB test kit and start to implement its marketing plan for both the individual VScan TB test kit and the combined HIV/TB VScan test kit it is reasonable to expect that the Company will generate in excess of $12,000,000 US in TB sales kit per year.
