Medical Services Expands Testing in the Caribbean

Medical Services International Inc. (OTC: MSITF)  wishes to announce that it has agreed to begin additional testing of its VScan HIV 1&2 test in the Caribbean on an expanded basis so that it will receive regional approval for its VScan HIV test kit. Regional approval on this level will nearly double its current market in the Caribbean as well as give Medical Services credibility in South and Central America. This testing will start immediately and is expected to be completed by the end of May, 2005.

Once approval is received for the VScan HIV test kit it is reasonable to expect that the Company will receive orders in the Caribbean for the VScan HIV test kits exceeding 1,200,000 test kits per year. This type of regional approval combined with the current approvals in South America will make the approval process in South and Central America much quicker and easier.

The Company has been continually expanding its distribution network in South and Central America and feels that it is reasonable to expect that the market will be over 2,500,000 VScan test kits per year in these areas.
