Medical Services Receives Approval In Two Additional Countries

Medical Services International Inc. (OTC: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it its VScan HIV test kit has received regulatory approval in Cambodia and Laos. Previously the Company had announced regulatory approval in Vietnam. On July 13, representatives for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos are meeting with Medical Services to negotiate pricing and a long term contract for the supply of the VScan HIV test kit. Initial indications are that the Company will be asked to supply 20,000 test kits per month. The length of the contract is yet to be discussed. The Company anticipates that it will be for two years.

On May 26, 2005 the World Bank signed an agreement with Vietnam for the World Banks largest grant (US35 million dollars). The project aim is to help reduce transmission of HIV and to prevent its spreading into the general population. Klaus Rohland, Director of the World Bank in Vietnam said, "Each year 5 million people become infected with HIV -- that's more than 13,000 people per day. A young person is infected with HIV every 14 seconds, that's around 6000 every day."

A major part of the HIV program in Vietnam will be focused on halting HIV transmission. The VScan HIV test kit with its accuracy, speed and requiring no refrigeration will help to make the program successful
