EDMONTON, Canada, Oct. 4, 2004 -- Medical Services International Inc. (Pinksheets:
MSITF) is pleased to announce that it has received it has received
permission to ship VScan HIV tests within China, prior to regulatory
approval. The Company received an order for 50,000 VScan HIV test kits to be
shipped within China. The customer has received permission from regulatory
authorities to receive the order even though final approvals have not as yet
been received for China. This order will be processed by the production
facility in Shanghai and delivery will be within 30 days.
About VScan
The VScan rapid test kit is a single use, easy to use, test for the
screening of HIV 1& 2 subgroup O, Hepatitis B&C, Tuberculosis (TB),
Dengue Fever and West Nile. The kits cannot be sold in Canada.
