Medical Services Receives Further Endorsement in the Caribbean

EDMONTON, Canada, Oct. 8, 2004 -- Medical Services International Inc. (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce that as a result of the excellent test results (100% accuracy) from testing in the Dominican Republic, it has received an endorsement from the Institute of Virology. The letter received from the Medical Director of the Institute says that the VScan test kit was found to be easy to use, easy to interpret and produced clear results. It was also stated that the fact that the VScan kit does not require refrigeration or electricity makes it ideally suited to environments such as the Caribbean.

The Company is very pleased that once again it has been demonstrated through independent testing that anyone who uses the VScan test kit is impressed with the results that are obtained and the ease of use. It is felt that the Caribbean will develop into an excellent market for the VScan test kits ultimately generating revenue from the Caribbean alone in excess of $4,500,000 per year by the end of 2005.
