Medical Services Moves Into East Africa

Medical Services International Inc. (OTC: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it has signed a distribution agreement for a distributor for several countries in East Africa. While these countries are small in size, they still have a significant HIV problem. Medical Services has already received an initial order of 10,000 VScan HIV test kits from one of the countries. It is anticipated that over the next calendar year that these countries will order in excess of 250,000 HIV test kits. The distributor is currently assessing the market for several other VScan test kits, particularly TB and Dengue Fever.

While these countries are small and relatively poor, they have the support of the international community who have agreed to pay for the VScan test kits through Irrevocable Letters of Credit drawn on western banks. With the support of the international communities, who are prepared to pay for the HIV test kits, it is reasonable to anticipate the purchase of over 1,000,000 HIV test kits per year in East Africa.
