Obtains Exclusive Rights to
FDA Registered Tuberculosis (TB) Test Kit

Medical Services International Inc. (OTC: MSITF)
is pleased to announce that it
has obtained the exclusive marketing
and distribution rights to a
confirming test kit for Tuberculosis
(TB). This kit is registered with
the FDA in the United States. The
VScan TB test kit is used as a
preliminary screening test to detect
the presence of active TB in an
individual. Once TB has been
detected there are several follow up
tests necessary to confirm the
Tuberculosis (TB) and begin
treatment. The test kit that Medical
Services has received the rights to
is used to complete the additional
testing required if the VScan TB
test gives a positive result.
This FDA registered diagnostic
test kit is designed to be used for
the rapid identification of
infectious human diseases and
identifies 34 disease producing
bacteria, including Tuberculosis
(TB), Mycobacterium avium-
intracellulare (MAI), Pseudomonas
and Nocardia. These bacteria are
also cited as prominent causes of
morbidity and mortality in patients
with cancer, cystic fibrosis and
AIDS. This test kit combined with
the VScan TB test allows for the
rapid detection and verification of
Tuberculosis (TB). These kits when
used in conjunction with each other
allow for the early detection and
treatment of TB at a fraction of the
cost and time required using
conventional methods. In addition to
the cost and time saved the
combination of the two tests are
much more accurate that conventional
methods.
TB is the number one killer of
people with HIV/AIDS. It is
projected by WHO that TB will kill
over 8.0 million people this year.
TB will kill more people this year
than all other infectious diseases
combined. TB is very infectious.
With early diagnosis, most TB is
treatable.
The addition of the new test kit
to the VScan product line increases
the value of the VScan TB test kit
significantly. It reduces the cost
and time previously needed for
diagnosis of TB and makes it easier
for individuals to be tested.
