Medical Services International Continues to Expand in Southeast Asia

EDMONTON, Canada, Nov. 22, 2004 -- Medical Services International Inc. (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it continues to expand in Southeast Asia through negotiations with distributors in Korea and Taiwan. The distributors are established pharmaceutical companies with distribution networks already in place. These Companies are primarily interested in the VScan HIV rapid test kit and the VScan TB rapid test kit. Both kits have been extensively tested in southeast Asia with excellent test results.

Many countries in Southeast Asia are experiencing a significant increase in both HIV and TB. The VScan TB kit is of special interest in that it only detects active TB and gives no false positives. Tuberculosis (TB ) will kill over 8 million people this year, which is more than all the other infectious diseases combined. If detected early TB is treatable.
