Medical Services VScan HIV Test Kit Receives Approval in China

Medical Services International Inc. (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to  that it has received full regulatory approval to sell its VScan HIV 1&2 rapid test kits in the People's Republic of China. With the regulatory approval, the Company will now begin processing the existing orders for the VScan HIV test kit that have an approximate value of $4,600,000 U.S. These are initial orders and it is anticipated that additional orders will follow immediately. The distribution network that has been established will begin its marketing program as quickly as it can be implemented. The kits will be manufactured in the Company's new Shanghai facility. The Company has agreed that the Shanghai facility will be the supplier for all of Southeast Asia.

With the regulatory approvals in China, India and Nigeria, plus other approvals that have been obtained in other countries, the VScan HIV1&2 rapid test kit is now approved for all levels including retail in countries representing approximately 40% of the world population. These approvals are in countries that represent a significant proportion of the population worldwide that have severe HIV/AIDS problems.
