Medical Services to Begin Testing of Its VScan
Tuberculosis(TB) Test Kit on a Large Scale in New Year

Medical Services International Inc. (Pinksheets: MSITF) is pleased to announce  that  it will begin testing of its VScan Tuberculosis (TB) rapid test kit on a large scale outside China.  The testing is scheduled to start by the middle of January, 2005. The Company is very confident that the results obtained during this testing will equal the testing completed in China. The Company has filed the necessary documents required for regulatory approval of the VScan TB test kit in China. The VScan test kit is the only test that does not give false positives.

The Company recently issued a press release indicating that it had received approval by regulatory authorities in China for its VScan HIV1&2 test kit. By regulatory approval, the Company was referring to the SDA. In regard to India, the approval of the rapid test kit for HIV1&2 refers to the VScan test kit. The Company has begun production in the Shanghai facility related to orders in China that were waiting for the SDA approval.
